Selection Process
Candidates are shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in the GATE 2019 examination. However, the score obtained from GATE-2018 or from any other previous GATE exams is not valid.Marks out of 100 in the GATE Score Card will be taken into consideration for short listing the candidates.
The further selection process is in the ratio of 1:5 (i.e. 1 Post: 5 candidates, as per the reservation of posts).
However, candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview after getting shortlisted by the officials.
The Exam final merit list will be made based on total weightage of GATE score, Group Discussion and Personal Interview Marks.
Also, note that 85% weightage of marks will be given to GATE score and 5 marks will be given for Group Discussion and 10 marks for Personal Interview.
