Job Description

Strong knowledge of Core Java in a UNIX/Linux Environment

SQL and Relational Databases such as DB2 and/or Sybase

Sound understanding of Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming, Data

Structures and Algorithms

Experience with Testing frameworks (jUnit, Mockito)

Unix shell scripting

Familiarity with revision control systems, Perforce/Git /CVS/SVN

Integration technologies - MQ/Xml/SOAP/JSON/Protocol Buffers/Spring

Understanding of the SDLC, SCM, Agile and scrum methodologies

Required Skills:

Experience with big data/NoSQL technology such as Elastic, Solr

Exploration of analytics & machine learning technologies

Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Patterns, GoF designs

Knowledge of the Trade lifecycle

Exposure to one or more MVC web development frameworks (eg: Angular, React etc.)

Experience with full lifecycle application testing (functional, regression, performance, integration, etc.) and delivery management

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
