Job Description
Create dashboards and reports within Tableau
Support and Optimize Server performance
Install/Upgrade tableau Server
Design and implement proof of concept solutions and create advanced BI visualizations
Interact with business users and understand their requirements
Support the development, optimization, and enhancement of the Tableau reports.
Support the maintenance and performance of Tableau environment.
Support the analysis of requirements, design specifications, development, and technical and user documentation of report development through direct interaction with internal customers.
Lead activities to help understand business objectives, assumptions and constraints related to a particular question/problem where reporting tools can serve as a solution.
Required Skills:
In-depth knowledge on Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server
Configuring and Administrating Tableau Server
Good understanding of row level security
Optimize Tableau Server for performance
Creating rich interactive visualisations
Understanding of performance when building dashboards
Creating calculated fields
Creating data models inside Tableau
Good knowledge of Tableau server schedules including Extract refreshes
Knowledge of Tableau REST API
Good understanding of Tableau Server Postgres database
Knowledge of scripting language such as PowerShell
Understanding of Tableau Server architecture
Troubleshooting Tableau Server
