Job Description
Contribute towards setting strategic direction of UNIX Infrastructure. Conceptual technical thinking.
Development and drive of improvements in current toolsets
Provide expertise technical advice to customers and UNIX team members
Bring new technology to the bank
Required Skills:
Deep understanding of UNIX and facilitating technologies
Knowledge of clustering technologies (Veritas Cluster suite/PowerHA/ Pacemaker/RedHat HA)
Understanding of storage technologies (SAN, Volume manager)
Knowledge of monitoring systems and concepts of large scale monitoring (Nagios, UIM, Nimbus)
Awareness of virtualization, cloud and containerization technologies (OpenStack, OpenShift, Docker, AWS)
Understanding and knowledge of Infrastructure-as-a-Code concepts and tools (Chef/cfengine/Ansible/Puppet etc.)
Ability to code (Ruby/ Python/Perl)
