Job Description
Escalating IT issues to the IT Manager where necessary
Responsible for managing backups and restoration
Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
Providing desktop and server support
Installing authorized software in laptops and desktops
Ensuring security and upgrades are applied to desktops and laptops and kept up to date
Antivirus installation for all desktops and laptops
Fault finding in laptops and desktops
Making of Cat 5 e network cables where necessary
Required Skills:
Installing windows / Unix flavor OS and configuring various application softwares like MS Office / MS Outlook for mail and internet access
Installation of Network devices and trouble shooting of these devices
Good knowledge / awareness on LAN and other network fundamentals and designs
Ability to communicate with end users
Excellent oral and written communication skills and analytical skills
