Job Description
Responsibilites:
AkzoNobel is looking for further strengthen our Manufacturing & Integrated Supply Chain function. This role is to build our potential future leader pool in South Asia. Selected candidates have the opportunities to be exposed to various functions through projects not just in India but also Internationally.
Accountabilities:
Interfaces with external functions such as R & D / Marketing and centralized engineering for the industrialization of new products, new raw materials and recipe modifications, ensuring that on-site modifications are controlled and managed.
Provides expertise for the onsite operations group during process troubleshooting issues.
For capital projects, conducts process studies, contributes to pre-projects and performs the initial definition of the scope and development of the business case, then relies on the project group for execution (expects minor projects, <500,000).
During project execution, plays a major role in commissioning, startup and training, then owes technology to the site.
Stays are informed about, among other things, relevant technology, company news and current SHE standards, and take action if necessary. Identifies the relevant information to use.
Contributes to site improvements (processes) and CI / ALPS projects.
Manages the coordination of NPI activities related to manufacturing, as appropriate.
Is familiar with and complies with all applicable company policies and procedures as well as sites and laboratories with respect to personal behavior, HSE, and product safety and regulatory standards (PSRA).
Project Engineering:
Prepare, plan, coordinate and monitor assigned engineering projects.
Monitors compliance with codes, practices, quality assurance and quality control policies, performance standards and applicable specifications.
Cooperate and communicate daily with project members and stakeholders to interpret their needs and requirements, and provide technical assistance and support.
Performs overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, staff performance) and reports regularly on the status of the project.
Monitor and control project budgets and punctuality to ensure project completion within approved limits.
Audits projects after completion to measure project results against initial project objectives.
Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
Stays are informed about, among other things, relevant technology, company news and current SHE standards, and take action if necessary. Identifies the relevant information to use.
