Responsibilities
Accounting and Book keeping Support:
Assist with specific questions on balance sheet and P&L items
Assist with reconciliation of accounts period end balance sheet analysis
Abilities to make journal entries and general ledger postings
Abilities to review, reconcile and map tax liabilities (eg Withholding tax) with bank payments
To review Accounts Receivable, map it to remittances received from Customers and reconcile customer accounts
Accounting Standard Support: implementing new/changed legislation on GAAP, track impact and help with reconciliation
Cash and Bank balance – Bank reconciliation, reconciliation of projection vs utilization
Statutory Audit and Internal Audits
Tax filings
Statistical Return filing for US / Canadian entities (good to have)
Reviewing financial statements and providing the schedules to support the review
Assist with responding to queries around financial statements & global collaboration
