Job Description
Perform operational work responding to incidents, requests, manually applied changes and investigate issues within multiple cloud systems.
Focus on innovating and handling large scale changes on a regular basis.
Develop automation to push toward automatic, not just automated, systems and service.
Create and manage monitoring tools, monitoring what’s necessary within systems and services.
Create and leverage code delivery pipelines to deliver regular releases of changes into environments.
Spend time troubleshooting and analyzing problems, approaching problems in a logical, process-oriented manner, and consider large systems and problems that have many moving parts.
Collaborate with peers as well as investigation into new methods and practices.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of systems operations or software engineering.
Experience with Azure r cloud hosting provider
Proficiency with at least one high-level language (e.g. Python, Golang, Powershell, etc.).
Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Some understanding of network theory e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, etc., MAC addresses, IP packets, DNS, OSI layers, and load balancing.
Excellent communications skills. Ability to present and explain complex technical concepts, problems, and solutions.
Having knowledge of IOT system is advantages
Coding infrastructure automation across the CI/CD pipeline
Knowledge of build pipeline/infrastructure like Jenkin, GitHub, CICD would be added advantage.
Follow SRE best practices and procedures.
Work with teams on Agile/DevOps framework, build automation and achieve Infrastructure as Code (Terraform,Ansible), improve operation efficiency
