Job Description

Create and maintain excel databases using data from different sources.

Design and execute excel based projects to identify good research ideas across geographies.

Build and update company models and write research notes.

Write initiating coverage reports for shortlisted public and private companies.

Meet company management to understand business strategy.

Keep a track of latest developments in the companies under coverage and the sector and update valuation target for the concerned companies.

Conduct independent company-specific, sector or trend analysis.

Ability to forecast income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement based on detailed analysis of company documents and webcasts.

Required Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Very strong verbal and email communication skills.

Good financial modelling skills and valuation models.

Knowledge of Factset and Bloomberg.

Good report writing skills.

Ability to scale up quickly on the role without any guidance.

Candidate should be good with advanced excel skills, and use of excel to build and manage large databases.

Open to travel within/ outside India to meet company management teams.

Out-of-the-box thinker, who can quickly and independently understand the problem, devise solutions and deliver in a very short turnaround time.

Knowledge of VBA and Python would be an added advantage.
