Job Description

Ensure stability of the functionally before Automation

Create, Maintain, and execute automated tests.

Get familiar with Cloud native, Cloud hosted advanced Desktop scientific software and be able to identify the Test scenarios.

Follow test scenarios or test case documents and be able to automate those test cases

Identify software application weaknesses.

Create Test reports

Collaborate with the Domain testing team (Manual testers)

Collaborate with Software development teams

 

Required Skills:

Engineering Graduate in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Total 2-5 years of experience in SW Test design and automation.

Must have experience with Web UI Automation tools like Cypress & Selenium.

Experience with Desktop UI Automation tool, familiarity with Squish – Advantage

Exposure to tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence is a plus

Team worker with “Can do” and problem-solving approach

Understand and analyze requirement specification documents. Building scenarios and use cases for existing or new functionality. Generate/review/update test suite accordingly.

Learn and understand the application under test.

Locate to the best extent the inconsistencies, defects, performance issues etc. with help of test cases, applying mind and common sense very well.

Apply different types of testing and various techniques in order to locate as many issues as possible to make the application under test error free.

Any certification like ISTQB, is a plus.

Identify new targets for automation

Having flair in writing scripts using languages like Python, Javascript etc. will be a definite advantage.

Excellent English oral and written skills
