Job Description

Informatica Power Center development

Understanding and implementing data archiving from legacy systems

Oracle development to support the ongoing expansion of our Oracle data store

Understand the data tooling landscape and which solution is the best fit for which tasks

Unit test and peer review of code

Produce all relevant documentation (e.g. mapping specifications, tech spec)

Work with the Test teams to define requirements create test and execute them

Working with IT to understand and follow the Change and deployment process

Work package estimation

Measures of Performance

Complete and up to date technical documentation of all systems

High quality solution developed and deployed

Carrying out development tasks to the required standard and within the required timeframes

Required Skills:

Knowledge of Informatica (IPC and IDQ)

informatica MDM knowledge/training will be preferred but not essential

Knowledge of Oracle PLSQL

Demonstrated experience of ETL development

Data mapping experience

Data analysis skills

organised and structured approach to work

Have flexibility in working patterns – especially as you need to interact with people located in the Americas and Asia Pacific as well as EMEA.

Experience of the full software development life cycle (SDLC), software development, testing methodologies. 

Knowledge of and/or qualifications in ITIL

Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent experience. 

Minimum of 1 years experience of contributing to the success of a range of small-to-midsize projects of increasing complexity and business criticality
