Job Description

Implement continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) solutions for projects as per the defined target architecture or operating model.

Develop packaging deployment documentations and scripts for builds to be used for deployments.

You will be working with senior DevOps engineers in ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of production systems.

You will be responsible for implementing the deployment architecture for web / mobile applications that will run on cloud environment.

Implementing release automation solutions and performing administrative activities on various tools deployed for managing CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement continuous integration/delivery pipelines that serve the purpose of provisioning and operating secure test/production environments for apps.

Define and deploy systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on cloud platform

Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of production systems.

Management of tools for automation

Understands policies, strategies (canary, blue green etc), standards, guidelines, governance and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and for work of developers.

Required Skills:

Experience in Kubernetes, building and creating Docker containers and Docker-based Microservices, DevOps tools (monitoring and tracing tools, security, logging)

Good understanding of code promotion techniques, build automation, branching strategies.

Experience in installation and configuration Apache, Nginx, Tomcat web server applications.

Preferred Skills:

Azure / AWS Certified DevOps engineer

Understanding of Application architecture and Enterprise Architecture

Understanding of infrastructure as code (like Terraform) is a plus.

Working knowledge of public and private cloud

Good understanding of security standards and best practices

Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR and the related Healthcare regulatory environment

A good verbal and written communication skills to connect with customers at varying levels of the organization

Ability to operate independently and make decisions with little direct supervision.
