Job Description

To contribute to the software development for one or more applications / products across the detailed design, build and unit test phases of the lifecycle.

To maintain a technical understanding of a component or sub-component within an application / product, providing support for technical queries, live incidents and problems.

To ensure that the technical integrity and quality of the applications / products is maintained across their lifetime, contributing to the development of any technical changes being proposed.

To build knowledge of how technical strategies are defined to provide business solutions.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate and communicate with other developers to build efficient technical solutions.

Understand requirements and Low Level Design

Understand and Adhere to coding standards already laid out

Should be able to code based on low level designs

Good understanding of a developer’s responsibility in team development environment

Knows to write and execute unit test cases

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design using Java.

Hands on experience in JEE frameworks e.g. Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, JPA or other ORM frameworks.

Hands on experience on Web Services (SOAP, REST)
