Responsibilities:

Ensuring quality of software deliverables on Windows/Linux environments

Identifying Functional and Performance regressions on various build versions of the deliverables

Test Execution, Test content creation and maintenance of test environment/infrastructure

Analyze and validate tests results which includes create daily reports of bug failures and validate bug fixes

Reporting the test status to lead/manager in timely manner

Develop and automate tests for software validation

Required Skills:

B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communications/Computer Science with 0-2 years of experience in Testing software/Application on Windows/LinuxOS

Familiarity with computer hardware architecture (CPU/APU, x86, pcie, memory, bus logic)

Knowledge of software stack (driver, bios, firmware), Virtualization software (VMs), compilation techniques, OS based testing

tools, Hardware debugging using post-silicon tools, Kernel debugging

Good understanding of OS concepts – Process Management, I/O management, Memory management, Virtualization

Familiarity with any of programming / scripting language (C/C++, Python)

Basic understanding of Assembly language; Understand the code written in Assembly language

Should have good oral and written communication skills

Must be a good team player

Should be very inquisitive
