Job Description
Work closely with developers to create test cases, design test plans, and automate test cases for the verification of product functionality
Take components, integration and end to end testing responsibilities
Facilitate the tracking of Bugs and Enhancements (via JIRA and applicable tools)
Develop and implement the Test Automation strategy/effort
Work closely with Developers, Product Owners & Scrum Masters to review product
Proficiency in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of product defects
Ability to operate in a dynamic and challenging, team-oriented environment, and to meet tight deadlines
Drive corrective actions to improve software development processes
Responsibilities:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science
Good understanding of JAVA development methodologies
Experience with preparing and executing robust test plans
Good understanding of performance, security and regression testing
Required Skills:
Experience working in a Continuous Integration environment
Experience testing software components in a cloud computing environment (AWS, Azure or similar cloud computing platform) – 1 year Knowledge of Agile Software Development processes
Experience with Acceptance Test Driven Development techniques.
Effectively using data to make intelligent decisions
Multi-tasking and has the ability to manage a variety of complex tasks
Some test engineering experience
Strong engineering competence, including the ability to learn new technical concepts quickly
Strong organizational skills - Ability to organize, analyze and execute several concurrent tasks and activities
