Job Description

Designing concepts for cutting-edge, interactive websites and web applications.

Supporting the design lead, or senior designer to help deliver client projects like websites, user interfaces, e-Marketing collateral [digital fact sheets/case studies/flyers], multimedia, and any other collateral as required by the client.

Ideating and conceptualising top–notch creative work for excellent clients – websites, user interfaces, e-Marketing collateral, and multimedia.

Work quickly on tasks especially when they involve adaptations of an established design.

Help define overall site styles and imagery, including page layout (screenschematics) and interactions (user paths).

Create unique brand identities for the web and execute corporate re-branding projects.

Document brand and design guidelines for clients.

Continually evolve new design techniques as well as learn and research emerging front-end technologies that create significant value for our clients.

Support the design of visual design themes and concepts for cutting-edge, interactive websites and web applications.

Responsible for design production, image cropping, photoshop treatment, and any support required by the lead designer.

Designing PowerPoint and Word templates to match client needs.

Optimising designs for special uses - high resolution for print and low resolution for web.

Help in documentation for overall site styles and imagery, including page layout (screen schematics) and interactions (user paths).

Desired Skills:

A degree or diploma in web/multimedia/graphic design or design-related field.

1-2 years experience in Design Production, Visualisation and Visual Design.

Excellence in branding is a big bonus.

Well-versed with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Flash, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.

Creativity is a must and the ability to create original designs is a bonus.

Comfortable working in a Mac environment.

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively to bring projects to completion.

Knowledge of DHTML, HTML, XHTML and JavaScript is required to help you make good design decisions.

Experience working with standards compliant CSS is a big bonus.
